We had a thunder storm roll on through last Sunday afternoon. Hearing the rumble of the thunder brought us out to witness the strength of Mother Nature. One minute it was pouring buckets. The next, a rainbow colored our view. During this myriad of wind, rain, lightening, thunder, rainbow and sun...Brynn could not resist the opportunity to dance in the rain. Unabashed joy. Thank you Mother Nature.

Beautiful rain shots. I really love the last one.
these are great. and how about miss brynn? what a beautiful moment you captured. pure happiness among the grey clouds.
I love thunderstorms! What a fun moment. It sure looks unusually green there.
I love a rainey day! Wasn't that a song?? The lawn and the flowers also love the rain.
I love thunderstorms also--and Brynn dancing in the rain--priceless!
Dancing in the rain is one of my utmost favorite things in the whole world. There are few things that even compare! Love the last shot!
I'm reading this as I sit here listening to the thunder roll outside. I love the great thunderstorms here. I didn't used to be a fan of the rain until I moved here. When it's warm and you can actually play in it...it's heaven.
Love that she danced in the rain!
I love dancing in the rain!
Beautiful photos Melanie! I also love your new blog look. Brynn is a girl a lot like me. I still dance in the rain! Love that kid!
You said that: Thank you Mother Nature for the little joys of life.
Beautiful shots!
Makes me want to go play in the rain......if we had any, that is! :)
Happy Mother's Day!
great shots - my kids love to run around in the rain too - but then they ALWAYS get sick!
That dancing in the rain photos is the best!
I do the same thing!
That was an INTENSE storm wasn't it?
I love that kind of weather.
Great capture of pure joy!
Oh those storms are always something I have loved. I love those shots of pure bliss!
lovely. Um.... why aren't you out there as well? I always loved splashing in the gutter (figures, gutter...) maybe we need more childlike spontaneity in our lives (I know, "speak for yourself, woman").
Fun PSF
Great pics!! And that was a heck of a storm!
