Photostory Friday...

How many electronic devices do you see?? Sad, I know. I never thought I would have so many gadgets...let alone understand (somewhat) how to use them. My daughter and her friends use some of their "hanging" out time to put ALL of them to use...with husbands help of course.

Okay -- as long as they're not texting the person sitting next to them!

I am not looking forward to this with my kids really - I barely know how to use my cell phone.

It's so sad how dependent we all are! And yet--they are all so convenient...

We grew up so different! I remember being the only house in the neighborhood with a computer. I also remember my Brother-in-law had a car phone and I thought it was so amazing. Only the very wealthy had them back then. Now look at us! CRAZY how so much has changed so fast. I miss you sister from another mister! Are we going to get some vittles in the morning? HUMM??? Love ya! Ps I love the look on Sam's face! It looks like he saw something naughty! LOL

I've found the best way to communicate with my 13 year old son is through texting. That way I usually avoid any attitude or eye rolling (on both of our parts). Alan says hi.

That's how it looks when we go over to my husband's parents' house. I bring my laptop, hubby plays on his dad's laptop, and my son loves to play on his grandma's iphone while she plays on her laptop. Everyone is plugged in. Here's my photostory. Check it out if you have time!

It's crazy, isn't it? I never thought I would have all the gadgets and I worry about what it will be like when my girls are older. Right now, Hubs and I are both on a laptop, there is another laptop on the kitchen bench and another being shipped to us ... and there's only the two of us over 2!! And that's without the other little gadgets we simply can't live without!

I never really understood whether they complicate lives or make them easier.

I want my hubby back home so that we can sit in two different rooms texting each other again :-)
